Alena Bissinger was raised on the colorful island of Ibiza, Spain where she was immersed in a world of vivid colors and diverse cultural influences, surrounded by a community of world class artists and cosmopolitan individuals. It was this upbringing that forged her artistic vision, infusing her love of large luminous oil paintings. She later moved to the island of Koh Samui and lived a colourful and adventures lifestyle, travelling frequently between Phuket, Koh Samui, Ibiza and the Bavarian Alps later settling in Wiltshire ,Uk she moved away from the media of oil but explored pastels and other subject matter, creating pet portrait commissions for clients all over the Uk and Internationally until she decided to begin painting in oils again during the pandemic and pursue a lifelong dream of creating large vibrant works of art for homes. These paintings are studies of light and texture, reflecting the exploration of luminosity and depth achieved through the medium of oil painting techniques .

Alenas recent exploration into painting flowers began as a form of escapism. In a world overflowing with the frantic pace of modern life, the process of painting flowers became a means for her to connect to the energy of delicate finesse and colour. Throughout her life Alena also discovered that everything is energy which resonates at a vibrational frequency and she strongly believes that we can harness this energy in its boundless forms .With the intention in that the quality of her work holds a deep reverence for the boundless forms of  energy that surrounds us. By infusing each piece with love and intention her aim is to cultivate a shared experience , a transcendent moment where the energy and inherent beauty of the subject reflects back to the viewer. The ability through her art to transmit this intricate weave of energy and emotion, inviting the viewer to pause, reflect and to become enveloped in a timeless dialogue of her intention igniting the viewers mediative response. Ultimately creating a sense of love, peace and appreciation for the present moment in time and to hopefully inspire you to pause and observe the beauty around you.
